Led a structured optimization of a Rh(II)-catalyzed Si–H insertion reaction, systematically screening solvent, base, temperature, catalyst, and catalyst loading across 16 conditions.
Robustness was then established across 10 substrates, with yields quantified by ¹H NMR against internal standards — turning a marginal transformation into a reliable one.
